I have been painting and designing for over 40 years. From an early age I have had an interest in art and design, inspired by growing up in a house where my uncle Sean (one of Ireland’s leading contemporary painters) had an art studio and the walls of our house were full of both his paintings and that of my grandfather. Starting out painting predominately using oil on board and canvas and influenced by the art I grew up surrounded by, I produced mainly abstract landscapes. In recent years, I have started designing using photography and digital design.I have been working professionally with digital design for many years, developing websites and digital publications. I have worked in IT for over 20 years and have a primary degree in digital design and innovation and presently am studying a postgraduate in digital leadership & transformation. My present work is influenced by local places of interest in South Dublin and North Wicklow where I now work and live.
